| I would never consider a GTR as a direct replacement for mine. I'm really impressed with my Z06 and that's what counts to me, I understand that it is definately not a car for everyone or the masses. I don't hold the two cars as comparable goods (as I've mentioned with my opinion), so there is no real comparison. For the record, I think the GTR is a real cool car, but probably not what I'm looking for. They represent different market segments, and I stand behind my statement of different performance levels. BTW, did you read this link: [ http://www.autoweek.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071017/FREE/71017001/1004/FREE&rssfeed=rss01 ] Interesting to see what Mizuno (GTR chief engineer) has to say about the car at the bottom. They've done plenty of testing at NBR to predict the theoretical abilities of the GTR (which qualified people can do reasonably accurately, and you'd think they were timing the car), and then also gives an average time. To add substance to my GTR is not comparable to the Z06 arguement, the Z06 hasn't even been properly tested on that track outside of the Jan Magnessun run as I mentioned above... Again, obviously not comparable cars, maybe except for price and power within 7% and different approaches to similar 0-60 times....
